5-Plops Artisan Soap
The plan was simple: sweeping swirls, intricate layers, the kind of soap that looks like it belongs in a Parisian boutique window. What emerged instead was… well, five plops. Yes, honest-to-goodness plops of color that scattered themselves across the soap like playful children refusing to stay in line.
And thus 5-Plops was born. A soap with no shame in its happy accident, named in honor of Merrielynn, a friend who saw its charm and christened it with the perfect title. It is, in fact, hysterical—luxury wrapped in laughter.
Behind the whimsy lies a serious recipe: a velvety blend of olive, coconut, avocado, mango butter, and castor oils, enriched with aloe, coconut milk, goat milk, and vibrant botanicals. French green clay, kaolin, annatto, alkanet, and calendula infusions paint its mosaic, while lavender and lemongrass essential oils carry you off to an herb garden at golden hour. A scattering of dried lavender crowns the top, because even plops deserve elegance.
And here’s why it matters:
Olive Oil – deeply moisturizing, protective, and gentle on sensitive skin.
Coconut Oil – cleanses thoroughly while creating a bubbly, creamy lather.
Avocado Oil – vitamin-rich, soothing, and nourishing for skin health.
Mango Butter – deeply hydrating, leaving skin soft and supple.
Castor Oil – enhances lather and provides a silky finish.
Aloe Vera – calms, cools, and supports skin healing.
Coconut & Goat Milk – add creaminess, proteins, and natural sugars that condition.
Citrus Zests – brighten skin and provide gentle exfoliation.
French Green & Kaolin Clay – detoxify, polish, and refresh the complexion.
Annatto, Alkanet & Calendula Infusions – bring natural color and skin benefits like antioxidants and soothing botanicals.
Lavender & Lemongrass Essential Oils – calm, uplift, and restore balance.
Handmade in small batches, no two bars are ever the same—each one as unique as its story. To bathe with 5-Plops is to experience both refinement and ridiculousness, a reminder that life (and soap) is better when you let the plops fall where they may.
